First of two tapes containing interview with Sylvia Acker, widow of Abraham Lincoln Brigade veteran Leon Acker, who died in Spain in July 1938. Sylvia Acker was married to Leon Acker, who served with the Jewish battalion of the Dombrowski Brigade of Polish volunteers.
