Full text includes "Proclamación de la República Número 23 - Colección compuesta de 30 dibujos También en África el ejército español demostró su adhesión a la voluntad del pueblo. En Melilla se sucedían unos tras de otros los desfiles de tropas, precedidas por oficiales que ostentaban la bandera tricolor. Los himnos patrióticos, como la Marsellesa, el llamado himno de Riego y otros, eran coreados con férvido entusiasmo por los soldados, así como por la población civil. Los rifeños contemplaban llenos de curiosidad tales acontecimientos, esperanzados de gozar también de las ventajas del nuevo orden de cosas."
