La célebre Puerta del Sol era un continuo hervidero de gente, sin que ello diera lugar a ningún incidente desagradable. Contribuyó a lo apoteósico de la jornada el absoluto cierre de todos los establecimientos, para solidarizarse a la fiesta nacional."
